HbbTV makes progress across Europe

hbbtvcavousThe HbbTV standard is making progress in Europe with France, Germany and Spain offering the best developed services.

Some countries in Eastern and Central Europa are making fast progress by introducing many new services, including Poland, Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic, notes the newly published HbbTV in Europe report published by the Dutch HbbTV Forum.

The report was authored by Frank Visser (iMmovator), Rob Koenen (TNO) and Robert Briel (Broadband TV News) and is available as a free download from the HbbTV Forum website.

The report gives an overview of HbbTV services in Europe.
