Swanbay.tv has announced its entrance on the Indian mobile video market, to act as a 'one stop platform' for advertisers, content owners, mobile network operators and handset manufacturers.

The company is hoping to capitalise on the rapid adoption of smartphones and tablets in India following the emergence of 3G and 4G mobile networks in India, anticipating an opening for its video-on-demand expertise.

"With different platforms for content distribution, it is crucial for video rights holders to get best value for their content by understanding their audience. We are certain that with our strong international base and the quality we provide, we will be able to woo the Indian audience by delivering the most entertaining content," said Amandeep Singh, head of marketing & operations, swanbay.tv (India).

"Today, advertisers value a large network of engaged users centred on the content. swanbay.tv aims to stand out by working exclusively with content owners to enhance their content monetisation," he added.

The company has an exclusive partnership with the English Premier League to present premium content from the football teams, and also offers Bollywood, news, music and lifestyle video content.
