Canal+ is to broadcast all the web series participating in Spain's Few Webfest, a web series festival which is in its inaugural year.

The content will be available on-demand on the Yomvi online platform.

The event is taking place in Madrid on 13-14 June and aims to become a reference point for a growing industry in Spain. 21 web series have been nominated and will be participating in the final round of the awards. The participants are competing for nine prizes: best comedy, animation, drama, actress, actor, direction, script, audiovisual technique and international web series.

Among the selected titles are some of Spain's recent audience successes such as El Gran Día de los Feos, Lavida.es, Entre Pipas and Libres, and the international productions Estilo Esther, Future Duck, El Porvenir and Manigances: Notice Rouge.

Canal+ is supporting the Few Webfest in various ways and is participating in the festival's parallel activities for the industry. A professional market, roundtables and other projects will complete the event's programme, which aims to increase the visibility of web series' in the audiovisual sector
