South Asian broadcaster Zee has added its Veria health and wellness channel to its bouquet in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

The free-to-air TV channel will provide viewers with Western wellbeing, nutrition, fitness and holistic lifestyle programming in English and subtitled in Arabic.

"After the successful launch of Veria in the USA and Indonesia, we bring the channel to the Middle East. The essence of this channel reflects every individual's desire to enhance their outlook in life by augmenting the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual facets in their beings. Veria will serve as a one-stop solution for all those seeking overall wellness and healthy living guidance right from the comfort of their homes," said Subhash Chandra, chairman of Zee's parent company, the Essel Group.

"We take pride in our commitment to provide new and unique content for our viewers all around the world. Veria Living will, without a doubt, contribute to expanding our presence across the globe; allowing us to penetrate select markets and reach new audiences with its exclusive offerings," he added.

Zee's bouquet is available to satellite viewers via Nilesat across MENA. In the UAE it is also carried by IPTV providers Etisalat and du.
