Middle East pay-TV platform OSN has upgraded two more film channels OSN Movies Festival and OSN Movies Kids to high definition (HD).

Now, all eight of OSN's movie channels will be broadcast across the region in HD, along with 38 other HD channels.

"The availability of high definition content is something OSN viewers have come to expect as standard and the launch of a further two HD channels allows us to accommodate the quality programming our subscribers demand," said David Butorac, chief executive officer, OSN.

"There is no better way to watch a movie than in high definition and now, OSN subscribers can watch all of our premium films in stunning high definition."

This year, OSN has also launched Animal Planet HD, Discovery Science HD, and Discovery Network's TLC HD.
