Vodafone Spain is ready for the summer season, announcing new pricing and content plans with the aim of expanding its 4G LTE customer base and increasing data traffic.
Until 31 August Vodafone Spain's data packages will include Canal+'s Yomvi and Napster music content for a special price. 4G customers can choose between Yomvi's Liga+, which includes eight live and VOD La Liga matches a week plus the Copa del Rey and international competitions; Yomvi Familiar, with movies, series, documentaries and kids channels and over 1,000 on-demand titles; or Napster Unlimited, which gives access to over 20 million songs via streaming.
The telco's new plans also include more data capacity, although the prices will increase after a trial period of three months for current LTE customers. Newcomers will enjoy a special price until 31 August, enjoying the additional features of video and music from three to 24 months, depending on the plan.
Vodafone has returned to the video and TV business in Spain since March, thanks to a deal with Canal+ allowing the telco to distribute Yomvi's premium content through the Vodafone Box and mobile devices.
