Kaltura is providing India's Tata Communications with an end-to-end, cloud-based video platform, using Tata's content delivery network (CDN).

The partnership provides end-to-end video workflow and delivery online and on mobile devices through one application interface. Content acquisition, transformation, publishing, billing, monetisation and delivery can all be handled through one simple application interface.

Tata boasts a global network connecting more than 200 countries and territories through 400 PoPs, and is a major name in communications in India, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

"The single application interface allows content owners to focus more on creating quality content for both on-demand and live delivery and less on media workflow and distribution," said Genius Wong, senior vice president, global network services, Tata Communications.

"By joining with Kaltura, we are making executing online video strategy easier than ever. We can now offer a one-stop solution for online video workflow that gives cutting edge features, while extending the global reach of customers."
