TIM Brasil offers advanced personalised content discovery
Leading Brazilian mobile operator TIM Brasil has turned to ContentWise to provide its customers with personalised recommendations and video search technology.

The offering is based around the Live TIM Blue Box which comprises an entertainment centre that integrates over-the-top (OTT) services such as Netflix and YouTube with free-to-air TV channels, and will be available for approximately 93% of Brazil's urban population. In addition it will take advantage of the operator's recently introduced Live TIM fibre-based fixed broadband offering.

For its part, ContentWise says that the incorporation of content discovery tools is becoming a must-have feature in today's TV offerings. To that end it claims to have created an advanced, real-time discovery and recommendations platform built for high-volume digital media, television and video which will enable TIM to deploy a set-top box that provides robust, scalable content discovery platform that includes detailed analytics to ease service creation and management.
