Presenting at SET 2014 its six latest projects in Brazil and its broadcasting solutions portfolio, VSN demonstrated its renewed strength in Latin America and specifically in the world's largest Portuguese-speaking market. The event, organised by the Sociedade Brasileira Engenharia Televisão, was held this week in Sao Paolo.
Cançao Nova, Fish TV, Rede Minas, Rede Massa, TVE Do Bahía and TV Educativa do Porto Alegre have recently seen an update of their broadcasting and content management systems through the Spanish company.
“We are highly satisfied with our participation at SET 2014,” said Mario Díaz Bécar, sales director at VSN for the region. “We come every year to present our solutions to the Brazilian audience, and we like it because we can listen to the market and understand its needs in order to offer proper solutions.”
Through its local partner Video System, the Spanish company took its complete portfolio to SET, including solutions for news and live production, automation and distribution and the media assets management suit (PAM, MAM and BPM).
“The momentum of VSN in Brazil comes as a result of the last five years, in which the company has constantly grown by 40% and has gained an important share in the Latin American market,” added Díaz Bécar.
“VSN has showed it is a solid company, investing in local development and adapting its portfolio to a Portuguese-speaking market, with both local solutions and support, which has been highly appreciated by the customers,” added Roberto Calmon, from Video Systems
