Spanish production house Grupo Secuoya has selected Mistika SGO's toolset to improve its post-production department with 4K technology. The group's comedy drama series Vive Cantando, the second season of which is due to premiere on Spain's DTT on 2 September, is the first project using Mistika's technology.
Secuoya has purchased a Mistika DI 4K system with DCP creation capabilities, in order to enhance its solutions and communication services offer for production companies, TV channels and many other industries.
“Mistika provides the toolset that covers the full spectrum of requirements that a current production demands,” said Pepe Abellan, Mistika artist at Secuoya.
“It allows us to develop our workflow without any complications, supporting footage captured on a variety of cameras such as Sony's F55 or RED Digital Cameras at resolutions ranging from HD, 2K, 4K up to 5K, and all in the same timeline.”
Jose Luis Acha, regional sales manager at SGO, added: “We warmly welcome Grupo Secuoya into the SGO family. As an innovative company, Mistika fits in perfectly with their philosophy of optimising the production process so that they can deliver the desired results of the highest quality to their customers. This is the beginning of a relationship that will be mutually beneficial and we are delighted that they are part of the growing Mistika community.”
