The online TV service of Spanish cable operator ONO is continuing to add devices to its supported items list, and is now available for iPhone as well as computers, iPads and Android tablets.

onoIn an effort to reinforce its mobile features, ONO's Internet TV aims to become the perfect complement for TiVo, and to this end is to move almost the entire catalogue of the TV service to mobile screens.

Movie premieres, series, blockbusters and premium events will grow the ONO TV Online offer to 1,700 titles available on-demand.

In addition, the platform offers streaming of over 40 pay-TV channels, complementing ONO's cable offer.

The Spanish company continues to operate independently after becoming part of the Vodafone empire, although some industry sources have hinted that share offers will be presented soon.

In March, ONO agreed to the 7.2 billion buyout as a way for the group to deal with its huge debt, just before the cable operator was taken public - an operation that has received the green light from the competition and telecom regulators.

ONO is considered an important player in the Spanish pay-TV market, having one million TV subscribers, which now belong to Vodafone.
