LAMAC warms up for pay-TV showcase

Showing the best of their portfolios, eight of the largest pay-TV groups will gather in Miami during the pay-TV showcase organised by the Latin American Multichannel Advertising Council (LAMAC) on 1 October.

lamaclogoThe event will precede the 2014 edition of the Festival of Media LATAM (FOMLA), with which LAMAC is partnering. The showcase will bring together the LAMAC members A+E Networks, E! Entertainment, AMC Networks, Discovery, Fox, NBC Universal, Sony and TBS to showcase their programming and discuss how to engage Latin American audiences.

Under the slogan Pay-TV, the Captivating Platform, the companies will present their portfolios to advertisers and media agencies.

"This version of the pay-TV showcase will be full of very interesting elements, gathering for the first time at the same event eight leading groups which will show their brand and content strategies," said Gary McBride, president and CEO of LAMAC.

The pay-TV showcase will be an invitation-only event that will be attended by major advertisers and media agencies across the region. The event producer Mary Black, from Somos Productions, will be responsible for producing this inaugural showcase.
