Turner Broadcasting System Latin America has launched its portfolio of TV everywhere platforms for TNT, Space and Cartoon Network channels.
The mobile service was unveiled at the Jornadas Internacionales pay-TV conference in Buenos Aires last week, and will allow viewers to watch both live streaming and on-demand content.
Available on a wide range of supported devices, TNT GO, Space GO and Cartoon Network GO will increase the coverage and availability of Turner's portfolio for Latin America.
The three platforms include measurement tools that will bring new and concrete data about Turner's audience, delivering figures on consumption habits, social TV interaction and used devices.
The service will be launched initially with VOD content, gradually adding the live streaming option depending on each country's legislation. Turner's mobile platforms will run on computers, tablets and Android and iOS smartphones, although the supported devices' catalogue may increase in the coming months.
“We are sure the TV everywhere experience will transform the consumption habits of our audience, which is why we have developed the GO platforms,” explained Whit Ricardson, executive VP for sales, distribution and marketing in Latin America. “Our TV everywhere product is now strong and able to improve the entertainment experience of our users.”
During 2015, Turner plans to expand the service to all its platforms and countries, as it's currently available in Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Mexico and Brazil.
