Prime goes Dutch with multiple content deals

Keeping up its pre-MIPCOM momentum, Prime Entertainment Group has sealed a range of content deals with a number of Netherlands broadcasters and pay-TV providers.

Adding to earlier contracts signed in 2013 and 2014, Liberty Global's FILM1 channel has renewed its licence for the 52x15' weekly entertainment series Hollywood News Feed while another package has been signed with long time client CLT-UFA S.A. Dutch Broadcasting. The latter has acquired the brand new lifestyle 60x30' series Fitness First Class in high-definition for RTL Lounge channel. Prime claims that due to its 'its high production value, HD quality and breathtaking locations', the show has been taken up by a number of European lifestyle channels with several deals closed in summer 2014 with the likes of Nova Life in Greece, Myzen TV Ma Chaine Sport in France.
Rounding off the Netherlands-based activities, the the cultural music channel DJAZZ TV, based in the suburbs of Amsterdam, has acquired a package of music programming including such recent performances in HD as Blues Filiation The Rhino Jazz Festival.

"These last couple of years we have enlarged our catalogue and thanks to this strategic move we have managed to get new clients on board and provide high profile documentaries, lifestyle series, music performances and other genres to many thematic channels worldwide," commented Prime Entertainment Group managing director David Freydt.
