Thai peer-to-peer video streaming platform PPTV has agreed a sub-licensing deal with pay-TV operator GMM Z to broadcast live football from Germany's Bundesliga through the remainder of the 2014–15 season.

Part of a long term partnership between PPTV and GMMz, the Bundesliga agreement will start in October, when PPTV HD will offer 34 live games to its subscribers.

Pay-TV operator GMM Z will share revenue from the live broadcast of these football matches with PPTV.

"Having such a top league will reflect our strong selling point as a TV station targeting premium mass audiences. The live telecasts of these games could help improve PPTV's audience ratings in the fourth quarter," Kematat Paladesh, president of Bangkok Media and Broadcasting, which operates PPTV, told The Nation
