    300

Starring Gerard Butler, Lena Headey, David Wenham, Dominic West, Vincent Regan and Michael Fassbender.
Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, "300" is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy. The film brings Miller's (Sin City) acclaimed graphic novel to life by combining live action with virtual backgrounds that capture his distinct vision of this ancient historic tale.

    Accepted (S.H.I.T. - Die Highschool)

Starring Justin Long, Jonah Hill, Maria Thayer, Adam Herschman, Anthony Heald, Blake Lively and Columbus Short.
High schooler Bartleby Gaines is on his way to scoring a perfect eight out of eight college rejection letters-which isn't going to go over big with his parents. At least he's not alone-several of his posse of oddball friends are in the same, college-less boat. What's a guy, facing down a lifetime career as a convenience store clerk, going to do? Create his own college, of course.

    The Contractor

Starring Wesley Snipes, Lena Headey, Eliza Bennett, Charles Dance and Ralph Brown.
Wesley Snipes plays an ex-assassin set up by his old bosses and pursued through London in this action thriller. Former sniper James Dial (Snipes) has carried around the ghosts of his last botched job ever since he failed to kill the leader of a worldwide terrorist group. After leaving the business and enduring a long exile in Montana, word gets out that the British government are holding the same terrorist in captivity; Dial is wooed back via the opportunity to make good on his initial failure. What Dial doesn't know is that he'll soon be framed for murder, putting him on the run in London's underbelly with the British police hot on his heels. Alone and distrustful, Dial claims only one ally: a twelve-year-old girl who aids him in hunting down proof of his innocence.

    The Hills Have Eyes 2

Starring Michael McMillian, Jacob Vargas, Jessica Stroup, Flex Alexander, Lee Thompson Young, Daniella Alonso and Ben Crowley.
What started with the Carter family, clearly didn’t end with the Carter family. As part of a routine mission, a unit of National Guard soldiers stop at a New Mexico outpost in order to deliver equipment to a group of atomic scientists. When they arrive at the isolated research camp, however, they find it is mysteriously deserted. After spotting a distress signal in a distant mountain range, the team decides to embark on a search and rescue mission into the hills in order to locate the missing scientists. Little do they know that these are the very hills that the ill-fated Carter family once visited, and that a tribe of cannibalistic mutants lies in wait. And this time, there is an even larger force of evil at work that is intent on the soldiers’ very destruction: the worst of the worst - the family patriarch Papa Hades - plans to keep the women as breeders in order to ensure the survival of the mutant clan. Thus, the inexperienced group of soldiers must learn to band together against a foe that is intent on their very destruction.

    Ocean’s 13

Starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Bernie Mac, Elliott Gould, Ellen Barkin, Al Pacino and David Paymer.
Third installment of director Steven Soderbergh's popular series of glitzy crime comedies. The only hotelier in Las Vegas who can claim that each and every one of his establishments has earned the Royal Review Board's Five Diamond Award, Willy Bank (Pacino) has made more than his share of enemies during his impressive ascent. While most of Bank's adversaries amount to little more than the occasional nuisance, however, this powerful player is about to find out that picking your enemies in Las Vegas can be a true gamble. In betraying Reuben Tishkoff (Elliott Gould), Bank has finally crossed the one man who could bring his entire empire crumbling to the ground - Danny Ocean (Clooney). Now Reuben is in critical condition, and Ocean is determined to strike back at the man who nearly murdered his mentor. Bank may have taken down one of the original Ocean's Eleven, but his efforts only managed to unite the remaining ten closer than ever before. As the opening of Bank's newest casino draws near, Danny and the crew set into motion a bold plan to humiliate the cocksure casino owner and forever tarnish his spotless reputation. It won't be easy, but if Ocean and his team can get their elaborate plan together in time for the opening of The Bank, they just might be able to deliver some serious Las Vegas justice.

    Schwere Jungs

Germany, 2006.
