By opening a new office in Miami, Spain's Grupo Secuoya has landed in the US in an attempt to position its brand in the southern part of the country, targeting the Hispanic market.
secuoyamiamiSecuoya USA is the group's new division, the priority of which is to identify and seize business opportunities in the North American market and thus export Secuoya's integration model based on content creation, distribution, production and provision of services. The new division is also in talks with the main audiovisual groups in Florida in order to establish a TV production centre.
Following the opening of the office, the company is about to sign an agreement with one of the first American companies to work on digital content production for the Latino and Anglo market. The audiovisual unit at Secuoya USA is also about to reach an agreement to take shares in one of the main companies working on added value services for disabled viewers (subtitling, audio description, dubbing and mobile apps).
In terms of content, Secuoya has teamed up with PBS to produce thematic musical programmes for one of the public networks, as well as other parallel content production and service contracts both in Miami and New York.
