Sky Germany and Warner Bros International Television Distribution (WBITD) have announced an early extension of their content agreement.

The content licensing deal includes on-demand rights for all reboots during the current licence term, and the exclusive pay-TV rights to all Warner movies through various distribution channels, including both library content and new releases.

The latter includes Interstellar, Magic in the Moonlight, Mad Max: Fury Road, Honey in the Head and the Nanny.

In addition, the content will be "temporally and spatially flexible" for its 3.8 million subscribers, Sky said, via the Sky Go and Sky Anytime TV everywhere apps.

"We are delighted to continue our long-standing cooperation with Sky Germany," said Jeff Schlesinger, president at Warner Bros Worldwide Television Distribution. "As our TV business continues to develop and viewers want more and more options in addition to linear TV, it is important to have smart and experienced partners such as Sky in Germany and Austria."
