Uruguay's TCC to offer HBO Go

Uruguayan cable company TCC is to start offering its customers HBO Go, one of the most popular video-on-demand (VOD) and TV everywhere services in Latin American.
tccBy subscribing to HBO Go, TCC's clients will have HBO original series, movies and documentaries available on their cable platform and mobile devices. Through a the Premium HBO Max package, which costs around $12 extra a month, viewers can access HBO, HBO Plus, HBO Family, HBO 2, HBO HD, HBO Signature, Max and Max Prime plus the TV everywhere service Go. It will be necessary to have an Internet connection of at least 2Mbps for this service.
A day after a show is broadcast through the cable signal, it will be available on the multiscreen platform under the VOD option, with added features such as smart pause - which remembers at which point the viewer stop watching - or series pass -which adds new seasons or series to the favourites list depending on what content the client has already watched.
HBO Go has lately been touted as the TV everywhere service with the most subs in Latin American, competing in popularity with FOX Play. The service is available in most of the region's countries through various agreements with cable and satellite (direct-to-home) networks.
