DirecTV to air Manchester football derby in LATAM

One of the most highly anticipated football matches in the Premier League, the derby between Manchester City and Manchester United, will be broadcast in Latin America by DirecTV.

The weekend after the Spanish El Clásico clash between Real Madrid and Barcelona, the Pan-American pay-TV operator will offer a new chapter in its #Superclásicos series, which includes some of the most awaited matches of the year.

On Sunday 2 November from Manchester's Etihad Stadium, DirecTV Sports, DirecTV Sports HD and the online, multiscreen and TV everywhere platform DirecTV Play will broadcast the match live.

The game, between two of the richest football clubs in England, will also see some of the most famous Latin American football stars on the field, including Sergio Kun Agüero, Demichelis, Radamel Falco and Di María.

DirecTV continues to rely on international football to capture viewers, delivering the most important matches of Europe's main leagues. The #Superclásicos series includes Real Madrid vs. Barcelona, Milan vs. Inter, PSG vs. Monaco and Bayern Munich vs. Dortmund. In addition, Latin American games such as Argentina's River vs. Boca and Uruguay's Peñarol vs. Nacional will also be broadcast in this series.
