Verimatrix looks into IP multi-network video services in LATAM

During the NexTV CEO Summit held in Miami, Steve Oetegenn, president of Verimatrix, shared the company's strategies on how operators can capitalise on the clear trend towards IP and software-based technologies to develop flexible and scalable multi-network video services.

verimatrixDuring Oetegenn's executive panel – Change and transformation of the pay-TV business in Latin America – it was discussed how a robust revenue security strategy can open up a new range of deployment options and extend pay-TV business opportunities, including premium and ultra high definition (UHD) video services.

Oetegenn was also in charge of presenting a prestigious panel of pay-TV experts, including: Carlos Moltini, CEO, Cablevisión Argentina; Eduardo Stigol, CEO, Inter; Jonathan Blum, president, Cisneros Media; Jose Platao Rocha, VP content development & production, DirecTV Latin America; Claudio Chiaromonte, executive vice president & managing director, The Walt Disney Company Latin America; and Pablo Goldstein, CEO, Unified Video Technologies.

Verimatrix also highlighted its new VCAS Ultra and how it offers pay-TV operators an agile multi-network revenue security approach with flexibility and scalability. The solution enables service providers to take advantage of UltraHD services and deploy them in physical or virtualised environments via an ecosystem of tightly integrated cloud-based components.
