Aiming to present its technology to the Spanish audiovisual industry, American company Evertz is partnering with Eurocom to organise Soluciones para Conectividades IP en Televisión, an event focusing on IP connectivity.
eurocomThe industry conference, which is taking place tomorrow (14 November) in Madrid, will feature a complete audiovisual work-flow based on IP technology. This will be able to analyse the work of an encapsulator/de-encapsulator HD-SD running on fibre optic, both an IP HD-SD encoder and a decoder RJ45, an IP matrix with 16 gates and a tactile control panel to manage the whole process.
Evertz has been focusing lately on IP technology for TV, partnering with Sony for IP interoperability regarding SD, HD, 4K and 8K formats.
The company's technology enables an advanced IP signal management so broadcasters can send and receive video signals to and from several points of the network at the same time. Among other technologies, Evertz offers a Software Defined Video Network (SDVN) solution, which leverages MAGNUM, a unified orchestration and control system.
