Josep Cister has been appointed as the new general director for fiction at Spain's Boomerang TV, moving from his previous position in the production house as a content manager.
Cister has a degree in audiovisual arts and has been working for Boomerang TV since 2006, with previous experience as a content analyst at Atresmedia's Antena 3. Since 2007 he has been responsible for fictional content, collaborating in the production of The Time in Between, Los Protegidos, Old Bridge's Secret and Física o Química, all series that achieved audience success on Spain's free-to-air (FTA) TV.
From now on, Cister will be leading one of Boomerang's most important departments as the company continues expanding internationally by selling its series to key territories on the international audiovisual scene.
