Liberty Global taps Conviva for TV everywhere analytics

Cable giant Liberty Global has tapped Conviva to provide intelligence and real-time audience and quality reporting for the TV everywhere aspect of the Horizon TV service.

Liberty Global's multiscreen offering, Horizon Go, offers live TV and on-demand content via laptops, tablets and smartphones, in seven European countries. By using the Horizon Go app, available for iOS and Android, and the Website for PCs and laptops, customers can stream content inside and outside the home. Customers with a Horizon TV set-top box can also use the app as a virtual remote control. Conviva's real-time big data processing will offer quality assurance analysis for the service.

Conviva Insights provides aggregated real-time diagnostics and alerts, across all devices, to identify potential issues that may impede the viewing experience as well as opportunities to improve overall quality.
