All programmes are available in HD format and consists of a combination of shows from Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery Science, and now also TLC, ID and ID Xtra.

Unai Iparragirre, Director of Passion Brands, Discovery Networks, EMEA said: I am convinced that audiences with an appetite for diverse, high quality factual programming and a passion for unmatched clarity of image and sound, will find themselves at home on the new Discovery Showcase HD. By watching it, viewers will not just experience the thrill of Discovery Channel, the inspiring and fascinating world of Animal Planet and question everything with Discovery Science. Now they will also be entertained with real-life stories on TLC, and look closer at the scandalous mysteries of ID and ID Xtra. All in glorious HD.

As part of the new on-air identity, Discovery Showcase HD will also receive a makeover with brand new on-air look including animated logos, promo endboards and bumps. This new on-air look will help viewers recognise where the programme they are watching is from, whether it be Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery Science, TLC, ID and ID Xtra or if it is one of the exclusive titles that can only be watched on Discovery Showcase HD.
