Vietnam Television (VTV) has licensed four seasons of Israeli crime drama The Arbitrator from Armoza Formats.

The Vietnam Television Film Centre (VFC) will oversee production next year of the local version of the show, with transmission dates set for early 2016. Locally known as Đối mặt trong bng đm (Facing the Darkness), the show will follow another Armoza format, The People's Choice, on air in Vietnam.

The Arbitrator follows a social worker in his mid-twenties who discovers that he is the lost son of the Underworld's most powerful man, and his moral struggle thereafter.

"We are thrilled to be working with VTV on The Arbitrator and look forward to continuing to expand our reach in Vietnam and in Asia. The Asian market is an incredibly important one and we are happy to continue building the foundations for long-term partnerships," said Avi Armoza, CEO, Armoza Formats.

The four seasons of the crime drama will comprise 45 episodes.
