Spain's Grupo Secuoya has consolidated its presence in Peru thanks to an agreement with Frecuencia Latina through the former's local company Imizu which is to deliver series and shows to the Peruvian network.

The deal, through which Imizu finds a strong position as Secuoya's local partner, includes four new fictional series with local actors; the second series of Comando Alfa which has seen previous success in Peru; and the talent show The Shower which gained international sales at MIPCOM and was selected among the Fresh TV formats.

The new productions to premiere on the channel are soap operas such as De Millonario a Mendigo, Acusados, Yo La Rompo and Gabriela.

Secuoya Group intends to consolidate its Latin American operations through Imizu, 51% of which was purchased by the Spanish company in July. Imizu has been operating in Peru since 2006 and has contributed to the production of over 1,200 hours of fictional programming.
