Invizimals series premieres on Clan TV, goes international

Invizimals has put aside its movies and is trying out the series format, with the first season to premiere on TVE's Clan TV this week following its local launch on Televisió de Catalunya last weekend.
invizThe series, a transmedia production based on the PlayStation videogame saga has also boasted programming on international channels, such as Al Jazeera, Disney XD, Gulli, K2, Multimania, Megamax, SIC, Star, Eleven and Talit.
The series will be shown off at the International Digital Content Forum (FICOD) that will be held in Madrid under the aegis of Red.es. It will be there tomorrow (3 December) as part of the Seminar of Transmedia: The Example of Invizimals, together with other highly successful multi-platform products related to the brand: videogames, trading cards and toys.
The Invizimals' series, which has been produced in HD and targets six to 12-year-olds, consists of 26x30' episodes. The production unveils the new adventures within the world of the Invizimals, a parallel dimension in which live some mysterious creatures who are invisible.
Viewers will also be able to join in the fun on every episode by capturing different Invizimals which appear on their television screens through a PlayStation Vita or through the app for iOS and Android.
In other developments, the premiere of the series will coincide with the recent launch by Sony of the sixth videogame of the saga, Invizimals: The Resistance, for PS Vita, as well as the current positioning of the official Invizimals action figures from IMC Toys.
Co-produced by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Screen 21, Televisió de Catalunya and RTVE, the cartoon series' rights are managed by BRB Internacional worldwide.
