FOX Sports Go beefs up football coverage options

The college football selection committee has spoken, leaving both red-hot TCU and dominating Baylor out of the American football playoff series, in a move that NCAA fans are sure to debate endlessly going forward. But helping the armchair quarterbacking along, FOX Sports GO rolled out new capabilities for its digital app, just in time for the final regular-season matchups this weekend.
FOX Sports Go, which is the network's TV everywhere play, allows authenticated subscribers of participating video providers will be able to view the live streams on mobile phones, tablets and desktops. For the weekend, it provided viewers with an option to check out the Pac-12 Championship and Big Ten Championship games this weekend via live simulcasts in both English and Spanish. Also, the app debuted a special feed from the overhead cable cam, offering action views from behind the QB.
This season, FOX Sports offered more than 140 college football games featuring Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 and Conference USA teams through FOX Sports GO and BTN2Go.
