AT&T U-verse TV has added a set of extreme and action sports from Latin America to its offer with the launch of PX TV, distributed worldwide by Alterna'TV.
Programming on the Spanish-language channel features live event coverage, original shows and packaged series. Action sports include skateboarding, BMX biking, motocross, snowboarding, drifting, surfing and paragliding.
"AT&T is proud to be the first provider in the US to bring this channel dedicated to extreme sports from Latin America to our U-verse customers," said Julie Tran, head of foreign language programming for AT&T U-verse. "We have an extensive line-up of channels aimed at diverse communities and this addition to Paquete Español will only enhance our already robust line-up."
Aymeric Genty, CEO of Alterna'TV, added: "Our new relationship with AT&T kicks off with the exclusive US launch of PX TV. This dynamic, engaging channel focuses on the content young adults want to see – extreme sports, the latest music and artists and the hottest fashion trends. PX TV has been fine-tuning and growing the channel in Mexico – a testament to its effectiveness in reaching today's young Hispanic audience. We look forward to working with AT&T to make PX TV the preferred entertainment destination for its subscribers."
