Algeria's state broadcaster ENTV will reportedly broadcast 12 football matches from the 2015 African Cup of Nations after it agreed a US$12 million sub-licensing deal with Qatar's beIN Media Group.
ENTV will air all the Algerian national team's group stage fixtures, as well as tournament opener between hosts Equatorial Guinea and Congo. In addition, the state broadcaster will show the quarter finals, semi-finals, third place play-off, and the final on 8 February, according to Algerie-Focus.com.
Algeria's Fennec Foxes are among the favourites to win this year's African Cup of Nations (AFCON), which kicks off on Saturday 17 January.
ENTV is also reported to have sub-licensed the broadcast rights to the International Handball Federation (IHF) World Men's Handball Championship from beIN Media Group. The tournament runs from 15 January to 1 February 2015 in Qatar.
