Now TV adds BBC, Disney, FOX, Warner to on-demand library

Hong Kong IPTV provider now TV has expanded its on-demand library with the introduction of streamed content from the BBC, Disney Movies on Demand, FOX and WarnerTV.

"We are thrilled to introduce these new on-demand libraries to enhance our customers' viewing experience. It further enhances our position as Hong Kong's leading on-demand service provider with 6,000 plus titles," said Loke Kheng Tham, executive vice president of pay-TV at PCCW operator of now TV.

BBC On Demand features high definition (HD) shows such as Top Gear, Ripper Street, Sherlock series three and The Musketeers all subtitled in Chinese. Disney Movies on Demand includes hit films The Incredibles, Toy Story 3, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled and Enchanted.

The FOX On Demand service provides US TV series, comedy, action and reality programmes, including The Walking Dead season five, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season two and NCIS: New Orleans. While the WarnerTV Encore catch-up service features Gotham, Arrow season three and Major Crimes season three, among others.

"Our customers may also enjoy their favourite on-demand content anytime, anywhere via our OTT apps on a smartphone or tablet device. We will continue to work with content partners to offer the best line-up for our customers," added Loke Kheng Tham.
