HBO brings Reik's concert to Latino audience

HBO's Hispanic-targeted channel, HBO Latino, is to broadcast a new episode in its Latino Concerts series, this time bringing Reik live from Mexico's national auditory to US viewers. Premiering on Friday 13 February, the special concert has been acquired by Sony Music Latin.
The 90-minute concert and documentary, filmed in Mexico, features several performances from a menu of Reik's most memorable hits. Formed by the vocalist Jesus Alberto Navarro, acoustic guitarist Julio Ramírez Eguía and electric guitarist Gilberto 'Bibi' Marin, the band's story will be reflected in the film.
Reik's front man, Jesus Navarro is no stranger to the HBO Latino Concerts arena as the vocalist appeared in fan-favourite special Thalia, Viva Tour En Vivo, where he performed during the a homecoming concert that premiered last fall.
Reik: En Vivo Desde El Auditorio Nacional is the fourth episode to HBO Latino Concerts, joining the specials for Hispanic musicians such as Romeo Santos (The King Stays King) and Carlos Santana (Live it to Believe it, Live From Mexico) in addition to Thalia's (Viva Tour En Vivo). HBO also acquired recently the concert-documentary Jennifer López: Dance Again, which debuted simultaneously on HBO and HBO Latino.
