Haier, FOXXUM seal smart TV distribution deal

The Haier Group, claimed to be the world’s leading major TV appliances brand, has started an alliance with FOXXUM, a smart TV distribution partner, to spread the connected TV message with an integrated TV-content offering.

FOXXUM LogoHaier will work with FOXXUM to expand its market reach in Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, Russia and the Middle East.

"We know FOXXUM as a partner who reacts quickly and flexibly to meet our demands,” said Christophe Chancenest, European marketing and sales director for TV/IT/Mobile at Haier.

“FOXXUM is also very competent in finding the best possible solution. The Haier smart TV solution is therefore a reflection of dynamic and successful co-operation – a great foundation for us to further develop our smart TV strategy.”

FOXXUM will distribute three series of Haier smart TVs this year: The B7000U 4k series includes 42”, 50”, 55” and 65’’ models; the K5000 series includes 32”, 40”, 50”, 55’’ and 65’’ models; and the H6660 series includes 48”, 50”, 55” and 65’’ models.
