Year-on-year revenue growth of 50% driving a 200% rise in profits has been the rather happy story in fiscal 2014 for real-time personalised content and recommendations engine provider ThinkAnalytics.

By 31 December 2014, the firm had boasted an Emmy award and a client roster of over 60 video service providers in more than 30 countries and 22 languages, reaching 150 million subscribers though clients including Fox, Sony, Via play, Get, and Sunrise during 2014 and extensions with cable giant Liberty Global.

ThinkAnalytics also won several major new over-the-top (OTT) contracts in North America and Europe. Over the year the core platform's functionality was also expanded and now covers multi-channel deployments across STB, Web, mobile, games consoles, and IPTV for cable, satellite, IPTV and OTT service providers.

"We are continuing to see increasing demand for our technology offering and best practice solutions of intelligent search and personalised recommendations, making ThinkAnalytics the product of choice," commented founder and chief technology officer Peter Docherty. "Our solution can be deployed quickly in a matter of weeks, either on-premise or as a cloud-based service. In today's fiercely competitive market, true personalised recommendations help video service providers differentiate their offerings, improve loyalty and increase ARPU."
