Cablevision taps mirada´s Iris for multiscreen solution

Mirada plc, the AIM-listed audiovisual interaction specialist, has announced the commercial launch of the its multiscreen product Iris for Cablevisión Monterrey (TVI) in Mexico.

Following an agreement announced in May 2014, enabling Cablevisión to renew its pay-TV service based on mirada's end-to-end solution Iris, the Mexican operator is now launching a multiscreen platform.

The solution encompasses Inspire user interface, Iris software client for the set-top boxes, and the backend platform, Iris SDP. It allows Cablevisión to offer its clients advanced programme guides as well as advanced search engine, smart recommendations and video-on-demand (VOD) services.
