Spanish video-on-demand (VOD) platform Filmin continues to bank on British productions by renewing its distribution agreement with the BBC for a third year.

Filmin will premiere several productions unseen in Spain through 2015, led by Quirke, the adaptation series of the books of Benjamin Black, which is available on-demand from today (17 February).

Through the coming weeks, Filmin will also premiere 37 Days, a series about the days prior to the first World War; the miniseries The Town; What Remains; and The Guilty. All the series will be available in English with subtitles and dubbed into Spanish.

In addition, the new seasons of A Young Doctor's Notebook, with Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe; the final episodes of Sherlock and Luther; and the fourth season of Whitechapel, will be also landing on Filmin's Premium and Premium+ packages.

This is not Filmin's only deal for British movies and series, as it recently announced a renewed distribution agreement with ITV SGE to distribute four new series in Spain, including Love/Hate, considered by critics to be the Irish version of HBO's The Wire.
