VIMN will increase its distribution in Spain with the introduction of its international channels to the platforms, with Movistar TV adding the MTV and Nick Jr brands to its portfolio and Telecable including MTV and Nickelodeon HD in its packages, the latter being also available now on Canal+, ONO, Euskaltel, with Orange and R to follow shortly.
"These partnerships with the most important pay-TV platforms in Spain provide an ideal opportunity for VIMN to increase audiences in the region," said Raffaele Annecchino, executive VP and managing director for South Europe, Middle East and Africa at Viacom International Media Networks.
"Our kids' and family channels, Nickelodeon HD and Nick Jr, along with the MTV brand, create a perfect balance and provide programming that appeals to audiences ranging from preschoolers to teens and adults," he added.
