As it becomes available to Australian audiences via the Foxtel DTH platform as well as free-to-air, Daystar has turned to Globecast to help extend its reach and better monetise its content offering.

The Daystar Television Network is a faith-based network dedicated to spreading the word around the globe, through all media formats possible. It currently has a reach of over 108 million households in the US and over two billion people worldwide and claims to be the fastest growing faith-based television network in the world.

As it comes on-stream down under, content distribution and management Globecast was tasked with identifying the opportunity that the Foxtel satellite platform would deliver to Daystar, and help the broadcaster better monetise its existing content and reach new audiences.

"Drawing on a combination of our global reach and local expertise and knowledge, we were able to execute a quick turnaround with this project and exceed the customer's expectations,' explained Globecast MD, The Americas, Eddie Ferraro. "This project with Daystar is a perfect illustration of Globecast's unique position in the market and how customers from one region can leverage our local insight and presence in another to their advantage."
