Spanish broadcasting solutions provider VSN will be attending CABSAT, held in Dubai from 10 March, with a view to expanding beyond its borders.

vsnmenaVSN's presence at the summit will be led by VSNExplorer, its workflow solution for broadcasters including media assets and production assets management.

Thanks to its latest developments, users can now upload and download content using the cloud, with transcoding, and files can be edited from the moment they are ingested. These new functions work on storage distributed in the cloud to increase security and accessibility from different locations.

These functionalities are already being used, and several companies are currently ingesting a live stream while different terminals edit on the proxy from remote locations. Once the files are ready, they are just one click away from being shared on social networks, over-the-top (OTT) platforms or Web TV.

"We are very proud to participate again at CABSAT. This is one of the main international events for VSN and we are looking forward to it", said Álvaro Martínez, VSN's sales director for the Middle East region. "2015 is an exciting year for us; it's our 25th anniversary and we have a strong international expansion strategy, with exciting developments to expand our portfolio of solutions. We want to keep helping companies and organisations of this key region with all our capabilities."

VSN's media management solution will be shown at CABSAT with new features in its three modules: VSNExplorer PAM, focused on production and post-production environments; VSNExplorer MAM, that offers all the necessary tools for the complete management of the media lifecycle; and VSNExplorer BPM, which adds an orchestration layer which enables the user to define business processes.
