Maintaining its good run of securing carriage in 2015, Prime Entertainment has signed with French producer Les Films de l'Autre Côte for the distribution of its full catalogue.

Prime9MarLes Films de l'Autre Côte has been producing documentaries aimed at high-end audiences since 2007, such as Those On The Other Side, a one-off 53-minute offering about Mexican families leaving on both sides of the US/Mexico border.

The deal with Prime will include such documentary programmes, consistent with Prime's 2015 strategy of enlarging its catalogue with high quality programme in a wide range of thematic genres. The distributor, which is based in France and US, has signed up with several new producers for a total of 200 hours of programmes within the last two months.

"We are very proud to distribute the production of Les Films de l'Autre Côte. We have to keep expanding our catalogue in order to fulfil the needs of our clients," commented David Freydt, Prime Entertainment Group MD. "The market is really kicking strong these days, we recently hired more people in our sales team, and our catalogue now exceeds 2,500 hours."
