As it explores its latest territory, RT America has launched its latest television programme, Watching the Hawks.
The hosts, Tyrel Ventura, Sean Stone and Tabetha Wallace, will examine issues relating to media, politics and pop culture in a news programme format.
Watching the Hawks will debut on 23 March, broadcasting four days a week. Filmed out of RT America's Washington, DC headquarters, the show says that the subjects and issues addressed "are the ones overlooked and intentionally avoided by the mainstream media or buried under the sheer volume of information coming at us on a daily basis".
"Watching the Hawks is for the person who feels disenfranchised from the political process, distrustful of a media that seems to be pandering to anyone but them, disillusioned by the financial markets - but hopeful for the future," said RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan. "The show is a great addition to our RT America line-up."
The RT global news network currently is available to 700 million viewers worldwide. It broadcasts 24/7 in English, Arabic and Spanish from its studios in Moscow, Washington and London.
