Videoglobal, 7A Media team to take online content to Latin America

Content producer 7A Media, created by former Cisneros VP César Díaz, is to join Videoglobal to reinforce the commercialisation of the online content distribution platform in Latin America and strengthen the company in a growing market with specific opportunities for Videoglobal's model.
"In Latin America there are a huge number of small and medium-sized cable channels which have no budget to buy high quality content," commented Díaz, CEO at 7A Media, a Miami-based company dedicated to content development and international sales. "This is where our solution comes in, as our platform will enable users to acquire affordable content, from soap operas and series to news and kids programming."
Videoglobal, which initially started operating in Spain as Errequerre but has been targeting the international market since last year, owns a catalogue of over 8,000 hours of content, which is distributed online and low-cost.
The ATM Broadcast-owned platform is also to add more content focusing on the Latin American operation. "It's a B2B platform, only for professional use for the TV industry and digital media", explained Evaristo Cobos, CEO at ATM Broadcast. "We offer a friendly tool to plan the channels' schedules with content for every kind of audience".
