MSNBC is planning to debut two daily video shows via Facebook, teaming with NowThis to produce Sound Off.
The news network will focus on a breaking story in the morning, and FacePalm will show in feeds toward the end of the day to showcase the most shocking or viral events in the news cycle.
"If we're serious about reaching younger audiences where they are, we have to create content in the formats that work for the platforms where they live," MSNBC President Phil Griffin said in a memo sent to staff Thursday, obtained by Variety http://variety.com/2015/digital/news...os-1201451355/. "And we also must seek out other partners and content creators who are experts at doing this, and share our interest in compelling storytelling and innovation. "
