The Brno-based company itself plans to launch a DTH platform in cooperation with Telekom Austria.

Quoted by Parabola, Dana Broersma, itself’s PR and marketing manager, confirmed that negotiations with the Austrian telco have taken place but not yet been concluded. She added that specific information is not available.

Telekom Austria is already working on the launch of a DTH platform in neighbouring Slovakia with Antik Telecom.

Employing transponders on Eutelsat 16A at 16 degrees East, it also operates platforms in both Croatia and Bulgaria.

The Czech Republic is already served by the DTH platforms Skylink, freeSAT and Digi TV, operated by M7 Group, UPC DTH and Digi Czech Republic.
