Video technology provider ATEME has expanded its board of directors with the appointment of Jacques Galloy, who will also serve as chairman of its strategy committee.

ATEME will leverage Galloy's diverse expertise in the broadcast industry as it goes after the HEVC and Ultra HD market.

From 2001 to 2014, Galloy served on the EVS Broadcast management team, as a board member and as CFO. He was also chairman of the board of dcinex for eight years until 2013.

Previously, Galloy served as a senior auditor at PwC and as CFO of various RTL Group entities in Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Belgium. He holds a degree in Hautes Etudes Commerciales from the University of Liege (Belgium), as well as a degree in Economics from Maastricht University (Netherlands).

"I am delighted to join the ATEME board of directors," said Galloy. "The company's innovative solutions are recognised worldwide for their performance. I am looking forward to the advent of the new generation of Ultra HD images. As announced during its IPO, ATEME will expand its international footprint and strengthen its organisation to take advantage of this momentum."
