Quantel, Snell reorganise global sales structures

Just over a year after Quantel acquired its fellow provider of post-production and facilities technologies and services Snell, the two firms have reorganised their international sales forces.
quantelsnellInternational sales operation will now work under three newly appointed regional heads, each heading up fully integrated Quantel and Snell sales structures.
For the Americas region — comprising the US, Canada and Latin America — Russ Johnson is joining the company to lead sales based out of the New York office. Johnson has in the past carried out similar roles for Grass Valley, Leitch Technology and Harris Broadcast over the last twenty years.
Based out of the UK, Tim Banks, who has been in sales with Snell for 15 years and was most recently Director of Sales, will perform a similar role in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. David Tasker has also been appointed to lead the Asia Pacific organisation, based out of Hong Kong. Tasker joined Snell & Wilcox in 1991 and in 2001 took over as Product Marketing Director, and in 2011 was appointed SVP for Asia and the Middle East.
