Following a recent collaboration with Spain's RTVE, South Korean network Arirang TV has taken another step to increase its presence among the Spanish-speaking audience through an agreement with Colombia's largest cable operator, Claro.

The English-language channel, delivering South Korean and Asian programming, will air 24/7 on Claro's advanced digital package.

With nearly three million subs, the América Móvil cable operator leads Colombia's pay-TV market, ahead of DIRECTV and the recently merged UNE-Tigo Millicom.

Through the advanced package, Arirang TV will be delivered to nearly two million homes in Colombia. The South Korean network is also available through Claro in Peru, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, El Salvador and Honduras.

Arirang TV is a Seoul-based broadcasting company which owns international English-language TV and radio channels produced in South Korea. Its programming is delivered by several satellite and cable platforms around the world and includes dramas, entertainment shows, documentaries and cultural and educational programmes with an Asian perspective.
