Aiming to meet increasing demand for pan-regional advertising across Latin America and the US driven by the company's growth in both regions, Cinemax Latin America is strengthening its Miami-based sales and ad team.

The HBO company has appointed Leopoldo García as advertising director to supervise Latin American sales coming from the US. On the other side of the business, Gabriel García, will be heading advertising sales from Latin America as well as targeting the regional market.

"Gabriel and Leopoldo continue to achieve great results in the region, taking advantage of ratings and rankings growth in the region, to improve the position of our brand," explained Renata Da Conceição, VP for advertising sales at Cinemax. "The changes will enable the team to explore new opportunities in other markets."

Both appointments reinforce a growing momentum for Cinemax Latin America, which reached 40 million households by the end of 2014. In addition to showing many series from HBO and MAX, Cinemax includes films from Warner Bros, Disney, Universal Pictures and Sony Pictures, among other studios
