Viasat is no longer offering Euronews in Scandinavia and the Baltic States.

According to Satkurier, the pan-European news channel was distributed to both regions by Astra 4A at 4.8 degrees East in English in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, and both English and Russian in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Viasat already offers viewers the English language news channels CNN International, BBC World News, NHL World, RT and CNBC.

As previously reported by Broadband TV News, Euronews and Viasat concluded an agreement for the news channelís distribution in Scandinavia and the Baltic Republics back in 2010.
